Privacy principles

Privacy is not a setting. It is a clear product boundary.

A tool for long-term commercial relationships must first answer where data lives, who can access it, and when it might leave the device.

01

Local storage is the default

The core experience works without sync, and VINEQRA does not automatically upload your relationship data.

02

Subscriber sync must be turned on

CloudKit sync is a subscription feature. Existing local data and future changes are sent to private iCloud and CloudKit only after it is explicitly enabled in Settings.

03

Sync stays within your Apple Account

Supported devices signed in to the same Apple Account can receive changes. VINEQRA requires no separate account and operates no proprietary cloud for core data.

04

Intelligence also runs on device

Relationship context is organized through in-app rules. When language understanding is needed, VINEQRA uses the on-device SystemLanguageModel in Apple’s Foundation Models framework—not an external AI cloud.

A clear data boundary

Important relationship context stays where the work happens.

VINEQRA organizes sensitive commercial context. Its data boundary therefore needs to remain simple, understandable, and controlled by the person using it.

01

People and relationships

Customers, contacts, companies, and the connections between them.

02

Conversations and commitments

Meetings, contact history, key details, and work still left open.

03

Engagements and payments

Commercial progress, proposal context, receivables, and next steps.

WWWAPP

Website ≠ App data

The website and the app stay separate

Visiting the VINEQRA website does not give it access to customers, conversations, engagements, or receivables stored inside your app.

A clear promise

A principle for today. A commitment for what comes next.

Local storage, optional iCloud sync, and iOS system backup each have a distinct role—so it is always clear when data may leave a device.

01
Default

Local mode works independently

Everyday organization, review, and Intelligence processing remain available on device, including while offline.

02
Subscription

Private iCloud sync across devices

After a subscriber enables sync, existing data and future changes move through CloudKit across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Offline changes resume syncing when connectivity returns.

03
System

iCloud Backup is a separate mechanism

iCloud Backup may preserve app data for device-level backup and restoration, but it is not VINEQRA’s primary cross-device sync feature.

i

VINEQRA in-app sync and iCloud Backup are separate. You control sync inside VINEQRA, which uses Apple’s private CloudKit database; VINEQRA operates no separate proprietary cloud service for core app data.

Privacy FAQ

Clear answers to important questions.

01Does core data leave my device if I do not enable sync?

VINEQRA does not automatically upload core relationship data. Local mode works independently. iOS may still include app data in iCloud Backup according to your system settings.

02How does iCloud sync work?

CloudKit sync is a subscription feature. Only after a subscriber explicitly enables it in VINEQRA Settings does the app send existing local data and future changes to private iCloud and CloudKit. Supported devices signed in to the same Apple Account can receive changes. Offline work remains local and resumes syncing when connectivity returns.

03Do I need a VINEQRA account?

No. VINEQRA requires no separate account. Subscribers who choose CloudKit sync need a device signed in to an Apple Account with iCloud enabled.

04How do I retrieve data on a new iPhone?

Subscribers can sign in with the same Apple Account and enable CloudKit sync in VINEQRA. The new device can retrieve data that previously completed syncing to iCloud. Local changes that never synced cannot be retrieved on another device.

05Are iCloud Backup and VINEQRA sync the same?

No. VINEQRA sync uses CloudKit to keep app data current across devices. iCloud Backup is an iOS-managed mechanism for device backup and full-device restoration.

06Does Relationship Intelligence send data to an external AI?

No. Relationship context is organized through in-app rules, while summaries and suggestions use the on-device SystemLanguageModel in Apple’s Foundation Models framework on an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.

07Can the website see what is inside the app?

No. The website and relationship data inside the app have a clear boundary. Visiting this site does not give it access to your customers, conversations, engagements, or receivables.

Private by Design

Trust should not depend on what happens out of sight.

VINEQRA keeps relationship context moving while keeping the path of your data clear.

Version V1.0 Expand full notice

This Privacy Policy explains how the VINEQRA iOS app and official VINEQRA website handle data. VINEQRA uses local storage by default, while the subscription offers private iCloud and CloudKit sync that users must turn on themselves. We aim to keep the location, purpose, and control of your data clear.

Version · V1.0
01

Scope

This policy applies to the VINEQRA iOS app and official VINEQRA website. Apple, iCloud, the App Store, and other third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies and are responsible for their respective data practices.

02

Core data in the app

Customers, contacts, companies, interaction history, commitments, engagement progress, payments, notes, and next steps that you create in the app are your core relationship data.

By default, this data is stored on your device and VINEQRA does not upload it automatically. You do not need a VINEQRA account or iCloud sync to use the app’s core experience.

03

How core data is used

Core relationship data is used to provide the app’s organization, review, synchronization, and follow-through features. VINEQRA does not use this content for advertising, track your activity across other apps or websites with it, or sell it to third parties.

Relationship Intelligence uses in-app rules to organize context and, when language understanding is needed, the on-device SystemLanguageModel in Apple’s Foundation Models framework to produce summaries or suggestions. This processing occurs on a supported iPhone and does not send core relationship data to VINEQRA or a third-party AI cloud. Model availability depends on Apple Intelligence device, region, language, and system status.

04

Optional iCloud and CloudKit sync

CloudKit sync is a subscription feature and is off by default. Only after a subscriber explicitly enables it in the app does VINEQRA send existing local data and future changes to Apple’s private CloudKit database associated with their Apple Account. A signed-in iCloud account is required, and the data counts toward the user’s iCloud storage quota.

Once enabled, supported devices signed in to the same Apple Account can receive synchronized additions, edits, and deletions. You can continue using local data offline; pending changes resume when connectivity returns. Completion time still depends on network connectivity, iCloud status, device settings, and system scheduling.

VINEQRA uses a private CloudKit database rather than a VINEQRA account or proprietary cloud database. Apple states that, by default, only the iCloud user can access this private database and its data is not visible in the developer portal. Authentication, retention, security, and service availability within iCloud remain subject to Apple’s service design and applicable terms.

05

iCloud Backup

When iCloud Backup is enabled on your iPhone and VINEQRA data is allowed to be included in the device backup, on-device app data may be stored with your iPhone backup in iCloud for device-level backup and restoration.

iCloud Backup is provided by Apple and managed through your iPhone and Apple Account settings. It is separate from VINEQRA’s in-app CloudKit sync and is not the primary mechanism for continuously exchanging app changes. Encryption, retention, restoration, and deletion are governed by Apple’s service design, your settings, and applicable terms.

06

Website data boundary

Visiting the VINEQRA website does not give the site access to customers, conversations, engagements, payments, or other core relationship data stored inside the app.

The website currently has no account sign-in, data-entry form, behavioral analytics tool, or advertising-tracking cookie. Hosting and network infrastructure may still process essential technical logs—such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and error records—to deliver pages, maintain the service, and protect its security. Those providers process such information under their own policies.

07

Third-party services and diagnostics

If you enable sync, core app data uses Apple’s private CloudKit database. iCloud Backup may also preserve app data according to system settings. Depending on your device settings and Apple’s privacy practices, Apple may separately process App Store, crash, or diagnostic information. These platform mechanisms do not give the VINEQRA website direct access to your core app content.

VINEQRA currently uses no proprietary account, advertising tracker, or third-party AI cloud to process core relationship data. If a future release adds a new third-party SDK, analytics, account, or other data service, we will update this policy and related disclosures.

08

Retention, deletion, and your controls

Local data remains on a device until you edit or delete it in the app, remove the app, or erase the device. When sync is enabled, the app exchanges changes between devices signed in to the same Apple Account and the private CloudKit database according to its synchronization logic.

Turning off sync stops future cross-device synchronization, but does not necessarily delete existing local data, data already synchronized to iCloud, or an iCloud Backup. Use the data controls available in the app and Apple’s iCloud management options to manage those copies. Before deleting data or removing the app, confirm what other devices and backups you still need.

09

Data security

VINEQRA combines local storage by default, user-initiated sync, and security capabilities provided by iOS and CloudKit to reduce unnecessary transmission and exposure of core data. No device, cloud service, backup, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We recommend using a strong device passcode, keeping iOS current, and protecting your Apple Account and iCloud settings.

10

Children’s privacy

VINEQRA is designed for business relationships and customer operations and is not directed primarily to children. We do not intentionally collect children’s core app data through a VINEQRA-operated account or cloud service.

11

Your rights and how to contact us

You can manage local data and sync settings in the app, and manage iCloud and iCloud Backup through Apple’s settings. Standalone file import and export are not available in the first release. Where applicable law gives you data rights—or if you have a question about this policy—please use the official contact method most recently published on the VINEQRA App Store product page or this website.

12

Policy updates

We may revise this policy as product features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. An updated notice will be posted on this page with a new version number. If a change materially affects how data is handled, we will provide clear notice through an appropriate channel.
